The proceeds from the tournament, held on July 25, will go entirely to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), on a day marked by a great atmosphere, participation and social commitment.
Last Saturday, July 25, Lauro Golf once again became the scene of a very special event with the celebration of the Golf Tournament Against Cancer, an event that brought together dozens of players with a common goal: to enjoy golf while collaborating with a cause of great importance.
All the proceeds from the test will go to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), contributing to its research work and the support it provides to patients and their families.
In the sports section, the day left a great level of play and numerous winners. Among them, Pablo Moreno Garrido and Salvador Moreno Garrido, as Best Scratch Couple, and Iñigo Molina Fernández and Pablo Molina Prado, as Best Handicap Couple, both winners of the test, stood out.
The awards ceremony was attended by the Councilor for Social Affairs of the City of Alhaurín de la Torre, Ms. M. del Carmen Molina, as well as the manager of the AECC in its delegation of Alhaurín de la Torre, Ms. Elena Gil, who wanted to support with their attendance an initiative that every year demonstrates the ability of sport to unite people around a solidarity cause.
The day was accompanied by a magnificent atmosphere both on and off the course, with moments of conviviality between participants, family members and collaborators, putting the finishing touch to a tournament that once again reflected the values that characterize Lauro Golf.
