Course – Holes 1-9 (A)

Hole 1

Pair: 4 | Handicap: 14

An affordable par four where the biggest challenge is no longer the old front lake, but the boundaries on both sides of the street. It is advisable to go out with 3-wood, hybrid or long iron to prioritize accuracy. A well-protected green requires an accurate second shot.

Hole 2

Pair: 3 | Handicap: 18

The easiest hole on the course unless the flag is back, on the right. Watch out for the out-of-bounds left.

hole-3

Hole 3

Pair: 4 | Handicap: 10

Downhill par four with a green surrounded by bunkers. The second shot will also have to be downhill and it is difficult to hold the ball on the smallest green of the entire course.

Hole 4

Pair: 3 | Handicap: 6

The typical mistake of this par 3 is to take a club with very little angulation (e.g. the Drive). Depending on the wind, we will have to choose from 3-iron to 6-iron. If we are not able to get there, a 7-iron to the platform on the right will “save” the hole. Watch out for the stream on the left.

hole-5

Hole 5

Pair: 5 | Handicap: 8

The placement at the exit is important, better to the left of the fairway, as it makes the second shot enormously easier. Whoever wants to trim the “dogleg” usually crashes. The maximum difficulty is in the second shot due to the huge poplars.

hole-6

Hole 6

Pair: 4 | Handicap: 4

A tee above the carob tree is ideal on this long hole with a green that has hardly any drops.

Hole 7

Pair: 5 | Handicap: 2

The longest hole on the course that is also played uphill. It is important to fly over the carob tree located in the center of the street. The second shot will bring us closer to the green on the inside of the dog leg.

hole-8

Hole 8

Pair: 4 | Handicap: 12

A par four rest, which however, can be complicated by the flag to the right of the green. If we don’t feel confident with the drive, it’s better to go out with a long iron or hybrid.

hole-9

Hole 9

Pair: 4 | Handicap: 16

Be careful with the drive at the tee as the very successful can reach the lake in front of the green. Better to miss it on the left from the tee. Easy green.

27-HOLE GOLF COURSE
IN THE HEART OF NATURAL SURROUNDINGS

Nestled in an environment of special nature, Lauro Golf Resort is born, which currently has 27 holes, combinable nine by nine, all par 72. From the beginning, the design of the complex is based on respect for the environment and the nature that surrounds us, not only safeguarding the life of each and every one of the pre-existing centenary holm oaks, but also with the planting of thousands of young trees, most of them native to Andalusia.
